Dennis Dunleavy is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Communication at Southern Oregon University.

His research concerns the sociological and cultural dimensions related to visual routines in a digital age. With extensive professional experience in photojournalism, international journalism, and writing, his work integrates and synthesizes knowledge of technology and society with visual communication as a fundamental component of the social, cultural and ideological world in which we live.
